I was talking about this with tersa the other day and apparently I'm a bit odd in that I don't really have an OTP. But then again, I almost never have OTPs, at least not in the traditional sense. Even in cases where I have a big, preferred pairing, like Adama/Roslin in BSG or Klaus/Caroline in Vampire Diaries, I tend to have other ships with the same characters (I have a soft spot for Baltar/Roslin and I'm even warming up to Stefan/Caroline when I didn't think I would like it).

Dragon Age is the same. My preferred pairings are Alistair/Elissa Cousland and mage!Hawke/Anders. These are also the pairings I played in what I would consider my seminal playthroughs. No preferred pairing for Inquisition yet because there are just SO MANY possibilities, though I adore Inquisitor/Cullen.

But none of these are OTPs. However, I did think of ONE real OTP that I do have, so I can use it as my answer.

Varric/Bianca (the crossbow, not the dwarf). Even when I could equip Varric with a different weapon in Inquisition, I didn't, because it's just wrong.



Also, here is an extra thing I wanted to do to torture myself. A list of my top 10 favourite characters, since for once I didn't end up doing that instead of answering a repeatative favourite characters question at the beginning of the meme, as happened for both BSG and Vampire Diaries.

I'm going to exclude the MCs, since their personalities can vary so widely, though I love them all too.
