Year in Review: 2013

I had a lovely, albeit busy, Christmas (as per usual). Good times were had, I got some stuff I really liked, and gave presents that were very well received. No complaints.
Well, except that my netbook has decided that the Internet is lame. So I am using my uncle's lapatop.
Also, there don't seem to be any Boxing Day sales on the ASUS T100 that I want :(
Anyway, time for more year in review.
Now here is a topic that had a lot of contenders. And yet, it really wasn't that hard to figure out who the winner is:
Orphan Black is absolutely amazing. Anyone who likes science fiction needs to watch it NOW. Like, right this minute, you should be watching it.
Even if you have already seen it.
I have never seen an actor pull off multiple roles as well as Tatiana Maslany does (so SO thrilled she got the Golden Globe nomination). And the rest of the cast is awesome too. And the character development is amazing (particularly for Allison, who I expected to hate based off her first appearance but ended up adoring ... very much in the same vein as Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries).
I just love this show. If I see that an episode is airing on TV, I will watch it. I bought the DVDs and watched the whole first season in a day (albeit it's not that many episodes ... which made it even more awesome to marathon).
