Another relative newcomer to the list but man, did Alistair leave an impression. We've got a similar thing going with him that happened with Clementine, actually, since I would do a lot just to hear him say something new. But the depth of the relationship with Alistair hits me a bit harder, probably since he's, you know, an adult and thus a non-squicky love interest for the main character.

I have played Dragon Age: Origin through three times. Two times have been Alistair romances, because I was so upset when he dumped my city elf after becoming King that I had to make a Cousland warden who would be able to marry him.

I just really adore this guy. He's funny, though so corny at times, and sweet and also pretty innocent, which is rare for a male warrior type. He's also seen a lot of dark times and it was always nice to make him smile.

Yeah, he's definitely my biggest crush when it comes to fictional characters. I remember being excited to finish work and go home just so I could flirt with him some more.

(Anders had a similar effect in DA2 but I'm still sort of mad at him, which made choosing between them easier. Even if Anders is probably more my type when it comes to favourite characters, with that whole "sexy tortured look" that he has absolutely perfected!)
