i_paint_the_skyThe expected snowpocalypse hasn't quite arrived yet but should be here by the afternoon, which will make driving home from work ... interesting. At least my regular commute is only 10 minutes, so even in bad conditions it shouldn't be too bad. I may leave work early though, depending on how things look.
Of course, the worse part is very likely to be my building's parking lot!
Anyway, here's more Dragon Age. It's nice havingtersa and erunamiryene doing this too, it's kept it on my mind and helped me actually stay on a decent schedule, unlike the other two 30 Days which have definitely NOT been done within 30 days or anything close to it.
Oh god, this is another terrible one! I cannot pick one, so instead I'll go with 2 ... and a half.
I've already talked about loving the Human Noble origin. I think it may be the best executed from a narrative perspective, because it was very painful when the Couslands were cut down at the end. However, once the origin itself was over, I don't think this one had the greatest consequences throughout the game. The thing that particularly stands out to me is the fact that Fergus just appears at the end, alive and well. WTH game???
The origins I think has the best set-up and followthrough would be the Dwarf Royal origin. This is actually the first one I played, though it was at a friend's house so I never completed the story. I do actually prefer that playthrough though to the one I completed later, because the first time round I actually did kill Trian and the whole redemption arc that was set up was beautiful. And of course, there is good pay-off with this one when you have to decide the new King.
Honourable mention to the City Elf origin, which I also really like, but am not quite as attached to as the other two.
